Daniel Kodam

Serving the San Francisco Bay Area for the past 8 years

Cars2ndChance for Cash is now Cars2ndChance. After an exciting process of renaming and rebranding the non-profit beginning in mid-2012, Cars2ndChance has an entirely new look and a new website. The non-profit is a 501c3 registered corporation in California located in the heart of Contra Costa County and serves all communities in the San Francisco North Bay, South Bay and East Bay. Cars2ndChance is a program of the Clayton Valley / Concord Sunrise Rotary Club and is run under the auspices of Rotary International. Rotary International is the world’s first service club organization and with more than 1.2 million members in 33,000 clubs worldwide. Rotary club members are volunteers who work locally, regionally, and internationally to combat hunger, improve health and sanitation, provide education and job training, promote peace, and eradicate polio under the motto Service Above Self. Dave Kemnitz, Program Director for Cars2ndChance says this about the tradition of service and care to those who donate their vehicles to the organization, "I'm excited about the new name and direction for Cars2ndChance . We've grown the program over the years and have gained visibility in the Concord, Walnut Creek, Pleasant Hill and Clayton Valley communities.  With the help of communities in the broader East Bay, Marin and South Bay, we are ready and able to use our website and other forms of communication to forge new partnerships and give even more back to deserving charities. We need everyone's help to do it." Charities supported with donations to Cars2ndChance include Avon Breast Cancer Walk, Contra Costa Food Bank, Shaken Baby Syndrome Dolls, Relay for Life (Cancer Research), Salvation Army Thanksgiving Turkey Drive, International Vision Volunteers, Casa de Fe Orphanage, San Felipe, Mexico, Leaps and Bounds (horse therapy for the disabled), and many more.
